Summer Series kicks off at Canada Place starting July 8

June 19, 2019 – Vancouver, B.C.: Looking for fun and free activities in Vancouver this summer? Look no further than Canada Place where Zumba® and Waterfront Cinema will be taking place weekly from July 8 to August 29.

Waterfront Cinema at Canada Place

Back by popular demand, Waterfront Cinema will be hosted on the North Point at Canada Place. Guests are welcomed every Thursday evening from July 11 to August 29 to a movie under the stars and in the heart of Vancouver’s waterfront. Check out this year’s line-up of blockbuster movie hits on our biggest screen yet!

• Time: At dusk, typically between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
• Location:North Point, Canada Place, 999 Canada Place, Vancouver B.C. V6C 3E1

Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair, sit back and enjoy the show. Beverages and popcorn will be available for purchase onsite. As this is a family-friendly event, smoking or alcohol is not permitted. Seating is limited, so arrive early to secure your spot! Christmas in July

New this year, celebrate ‘Christmas in July’ as the North Point becomes the North Pole and we deck the halls with Christmas trees and decorations at our movie screening of Elf on July 25. Nearly 7000 metric tonnes of Christmas decorations are shipped through the Port of Vancouver in July. The evening will be hosted by none other than Buddy the Elf, so be sure to bring your holiday spirit, a canned food donation for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, and enjoy candy canes, hot chocolate, and other treats from holiday vendors.

Zumba® at Canada Place

Zumba® at Canada Place is a fun, free event hosted on the beautiful North Point of Canada Place. Lively and expert instructors provide participants with the opportunity to practice Zumba® in one of Vancouver’s most stunning waterfront locations. No dance experience or partner is required.
