Canada Day at Canada Place going virtual for 2021

Vancouver, B.C.: With ongoing guidelines around physical distancing and public gatherings, we have decided it is in the best interests of our community to cancel this year’s in-person Canada Day at Canada Place celebration. We will instead be hosting a one-hour virtual celebration on Thursday, July 1, with musical performances, culinary demonstrations, a mascot dance-off, and more. Stay tuned for updates!  

Canada Day at Canada Place has been hosted annually for 34 years, and is the largest Canada Day celebration in the country, outside our nation’s capital. Each year, the event welcomes more than 250,000 guests during the daytime, and more than 400,000 viewers of the evening’s fireworks display.
