The events are a celebration of all things Canadian at one of Canada’s most iconic landmarks, Canada Place at the Port of Vancouver. Canada150 Parade

An integral part of Canada150 at Canada Place, the Canada150 Parade will celebrate our nation, our people, our cultures and our values. The Parade will bring the streets of downtown Vancouver to life with over 60 parade entries showcasing our rich and diverse country.

We invite you to showcase your organization and celebrate Canada by participating in the Canada150 Parade.

Call for performers

Our call for performers is now closed. Thank you to all of the artists and performers who have submitted applications. All applications submitted up to and including April 3, 2017 are being considered. Thank you for your patience while we review all the great submissions. Only successful applicants will be contacted and can expect confirmation of booking in early May.

Canada Place in 2017

Canada Place will come alive in celebration of this milestone in the development of our country. Join us for free community events where you can experience the music, cuisine, and spirit of our different regions and communities.  Celebrate Canada’s birthday at the largest Canada Day event outside of Ottawa, a multi-day event that brings our community together. Canada Place will be the hub of celebrations on the west coast and your home for the sesquicentennial in 2017.
