Once again Canada Place is hosting Vancouver’s most treasured tradition, the Woodward’s Windows, from December 1, 2011 to January 4, 2012. ‘Tis the season to go mobile! Canada Place Corporation has created a new free mobile app available on iPhone and Android devices to add to the experience and make it an interactive holiday visit to each amazing display.

The International Festivals & Events Association hosts the annual Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards
recognizing excellence in producing all components of a festival or event. Individual awards are handed out for excellence in creative, multi-media, advertising campaigns and sponsorship in addition to the overall grand prize,the Grand Pinnacle Award for international event of the year.

Canada Day at Canada Place took over the streets, Canada Place, Jack Poole Plaza, and Harbour Green Park as the nation came together to cheer, sing, dance and play on our country’s 144th birthday. The waterfront party was followed by the ever-popular 3rd annual Canada Day Parade and spectacular two-barge Burrard Inlet Fireworks Show.

06/06/11Canada Place is proud to broadcast all Vancouver Canucks playoff games on Canada's Storyboard, the 25ft Outdoor LED Screen on the front of Canada Place. A natural gathering place just steps from public transit, families, visitors and sports enthusiasts are invited to come together at Canada Place to cheer on their Canucks. Game 2 on Saturday was witnessed by thousands in a fun family-friendly environment.

For the first time in nearly two decades, the historic Woodward’s Windows will be viewable back where it all began: in the newly restored Woodward’s building at Hastings and Abbott. Beginning December 1st, the beloved Woodward’s Windows will delight guests with animated scenes and colourful holiday characters. An additional five displays are featured throughout downtown Vancouver. Which one do you remember best? Santa’s Workshop, Teddy Bears at Play, the Candlestick Factory?
11/03/10Canada Place Corporation is thrilled to announce its marquee Canada Day at Canada Place 2010 event has been awarded the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s (TIAC) 2010 Metro Toronto Convention Centre Event of the Year Award. The National Awards for Tourism Excellence, presented by The Toronto Star, recognizing tourism excellence, were announced during a ceremony last night at the TIAC Tourism Summit in Gatineau, Quebec.
