Christmas at Canada Place

Christmas at Canada Place has been a Vancouver tradition for 23 years. In December 2010, Canada Place celebrated the holiday spirit. Stay tuned to our Christmas at Canada Place website for details!

Breakfast with Santa presented by the Real Canadian Superstore was on December 18 & 19.

Since 1993 the Woodward’s Window Christmas displays have been a treasured part of the Christmas magic at Canada Place. For the first time in 17 years these historical treasures were viewable in the newly-restored Woodward’s building and in five additional locations in Vancouver's downtown core. In December 2010, a walking tour offered guests the chance to visit the six grand displays will take you on a nostalgic journey back in time.

Christmas at Canada Place benefits the Food Security for Children program at Strathcona Community Centre and local charities. Strathcona Community Centre is located on the Downtown Eastside, a neighbouring area to Canada Place and one of Canada’s lowest income communities. Through the Food Security for Children program, which includes the Holiday Safe program and after school snack program, children and families have the chance to eat every day of the year in a safe, protective and caring environment. We are pleased to support this crucial program…because hunger doesn't take a break.
